On Thursday, 4 children took part in a Year 4 Gymnastics festival at South Dartmoor Community College, with lots of other local schools, They had the opportunity to try out a range of activities including yoga, vault work, balancing and floor work. It was great to see them all enjoying themselves and working together. They have all received a certificate for their participation.

 

Yesterday, 4 children went to Dawlish Leisure Centre swimming pool for a KS2 Aquasplash festival. They were in a group with team leaders working around various parts of the pool, trying out floating, jumping in and using lots of different equipment. The event finished with a race with each group using a float between them to swim a length of the pool, of which our school came 2nd and there was a bit of free time for a quick splash around! They all had a great time, judging by their faces!
