On Monday 25th April, 16 Year 5 children took part in a badminton festival at Teignmouth Community School. The children played a total of 8 games against other schools. They all progressed fantastically well with their individual badminton skills and demonstrated excellent team spirit, resilience and enthusiasm. One of the highlights was the Exminster Derby match!

Emily said, "I have learnt how to serve and enjoyed working in a team with people I wouldn't usually work with."

Hayden said, "I have learnt that if it comes up high you can already have your racket up ready to hit it back."

Betsy said, "I have got better at my serving because I just kept on trying."

Megan said, "I really enjoyed playing the games."
