On Friday 1 December 53 children from KS2 took part in a Cross Country Competition at Dawlish Leisure Centre. 7 schools took part in 4 separate races. The girls and boys in Years 3 and 4 ran separately and came 1st overall, winning a large Cross Country Team Winners certificate and a trophy. Year 5 and 6 girls ran, followed by the boys.They all did well, with Thomas (year 5) finishing 1st in his race and receiving a medal. Congratulations to all who took part. Thank you also to all of the parents who came to watch. It was great to have lots of support for the children on such a cold day.
