On Tuesday 26th September 2017, 30 children from KS2 took part in a DSSP Cross Country event at Stover School. Year 3/4 children had to run approximately 1000m and Year 5/6 children had to run approximately 1300m.

In true Exminster style, all children that took part persevered to finish the race and each one can be very proud of their achievements.

It was fantastic for them all to be enjoying such a huge event, as there were about 500 runners taking part in the four different races.

This is the first of three DSSP Cross Country events over the academic year, so there is bound to be more success in the ones in the spring and summer terms.

Well done to all the children who took part and a big thank you to parents for helping out with transportation to and from the event.
